Cancer Genetic Counselor
Yuriko Beaman, MS, LCGC, is a Licensed Genetic Counselor specializing in hereditary cancer risk assessment and genetic testing. She works with individuals and families with personal or family histories suggestive of inherited cancer predisposition, helping them understand genetic testing options, interpret complex results, and develop long-term screening and prevention strategies.
Yuriko holds a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. Her interdisciplinary training supports a counseling approach that integrates evidence-based genetic risk assessment with thoughtful, patient-centered guidance for navigating complex medical and family decisions.
Her clinical focus includes multi-gene panel testing, BRCA-associated hereditary breast and ovarian cancer, Lynch syndrome, and other hereditary cancer syndromes. She works closely with patients to interpret complex genetic information and develop screening and prevention plans aligned with current clinical guidelines.
Yuriko currently provides hereditary cancer genetic counseling services in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Her approach emphasizes clarity, empathy, evidence-based guidance, and thoughtful decision-making tailored to each individual.
